Due to significant, probable changes in the tax law impacting business transfers, we anticipate that 2012 will be a very active year. As a result, we are offering our clients a new service by providing Opinions of Market Value. Although we have historically provided an estimated range of market value for our prospective clients, we have taken it a step further by formalizing the process in response to numerous requests from business owners and their advisors. An Opinion of Market Value is not meant to substitute for a formal business appraisal, but it can be used by management as a benchmark for estimating the value of a business if it were to be sold to a third party acquirer. To assist us in providing this service, we have added a new team member, Joe Pichler, who joins us as a business analyst. Joe brings a weatlh of talent and experience to the firm.
